First Avenue The Hold Steady Tickets

The Hold Steady is a Brooklyn-based rock group that has been described as "a riff-heavy mixture of classic rock", notable for it's "lyrically dense storytelling."  The band formed in 2003, as Minnesota-raised vocalist, lyricist & guitarist Craig Finn and New York bartender and bassist Galen Polivka decided to start a band with lead guitarist Tad Kubler.  To date, The Hold Steady has released five studio albums, with the most recent, Heaven Is Whenever, released in May of this year.  The Hold Steady is currently on tour promoting their latest album and will be making a stop at First Avenue on Wednesday, December 29th at 7pm.  If you don't have The Hold Steady tickets yet, Ticket King has a nice supply of them for just $65 each.  But don't wait too long - this show WILL sell out and you don't want to be scrambling for tickets last minute.  Tickets do make great holiday gifts too....
