Lynyrd Skynyrd first rose to fame in 1973 before a plane crash killed three members and one road crew member in 1977. The next year, the band reformed for a reunion tour and has been touring & recording ever since. In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked the group #95 on their list of The 100 Greatest Artists of All Time & the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in March of 2006.
