Boz Scaggs State Theatre Tickets

William Royce 'Boz' Scaggs is a singer-songwriter and guitarist that gained fame in the 1970s.  Boz learned the guitar at age 12 and met Steve Miller at St. Marks, the private school he attended in Dallas.  St. Marks is also where he was given the nickname 'Bosley' by a schoolmate, which was later shortened to 'Boz'.  In 1959, Boz became the vocalist for Steve Miller's band, The Marksmen.  After touring and singing with several bands, Boz traveled to Sweden as a solo performer and recorded his solo debut album, Boz, in 1965.
