Easter Egg Fashion

Here in the Philippines, we celebrated Easter yesterday. Easter is about chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, and of course EGGS. Before this month ends, grab some egg purses from Vivian Alexander. Pussycat Dolls Lingerie Collection @ L.A. Fashion Week 2008

After being away from the limelight, the Pussycat Dolls now have their own line of lingerie called "...shhh". The lingerie line was inspired by punk-rock music and old-fashioned pinup girls.

Robin Antin called it "shhh" because it's "every woman's little secret". "What we're wearing under our clothes is our little secret," she said. "It's something that every woman shares."

On the last day of L.A. Fashion Week, she sent models dressed in brightly hued ruffled panties paired with push-up demicup bras or camisoles; boy-cut bottoms with side ties and matching bras; and tiny thongs matched with equally teeny bras. There were corsets and low-slung panties, totally sheer mesh camisoles, cropped hoodies, and skinny ribbed tanks, and underwear with detachable garters, some in animal prints, some striped, some with Swarovski crystal or embroidery embellishments. All were shown with over-the-knee dark socks and work boots.

Here in the Philippines, summer season is on it's peak. We have blue skies with puffy white clouds and yes the temperature, is hotter. And what's the best way to spend summer? I would say, bumming around the beach just like the men and women in Sundek beachwear campaign ad:

America's Next Top Models And Beef!

On the 14th Episode of America's Next Top Model, the girls headed to New York City’s meat packing district and posed with racks of beef. They were shot in a meat hanger, each girl wrapped in sides of beef and, in some cases, even wearing "meat panties."

According to Tyra: "In this industry they treat models like a side of beef!"





I'm wondering what would PETA say about this photoshoot.....

Gisele Bundchen and James LeBron for Vogue April 2008 Cover

The April cover of Vogue magazine will feature basketball superstar, LeBron James and fashion supermodel, Gisele Bundchen. It is only the third time ever a man has graced the cover of the magazine after George Clooney and Richard Gere. This would break all the rules of a Vogue cover because according to some observations: Anna Wintour seldom put on her cover: (a) more than one model, (b) a man, (c) a person of color.

The issue features a story about top athletes and supermodels. Grab a copy of it for it’s something you don’t see every day on the cover of Vogue magazine.
